SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:   Entry-level HR position that is primarily focused on data entry. May perform Human Resource related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employment, benefits, compensation, training and employee relations. 

  • Daily data entry.
  • Works closely with local staffing agencies to ensure a sufficient labor force is available to meet manufacturing requirements.
  • Assists with recruiting, screening, and interviewing potential job applicants. 
  • Administers Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Assists the HR Department in projects as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:  Qualified candidates will possess 1-2 years of direct Human Resource experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.  The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills, be detail and task oriented, possess creative problem solving skills, and be able to comprehend at a rapid pace.  We are seeking a team player with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).  Prior experience administering an HRIS is highly desirable. Local candidates only.  No relocation expenses will be paid.
WORKING CONDITIONS:  Standard office hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm); however overtime and weekends may be required.
