SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:   We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to lead us in our overall marketing efforts.  This candidate will lead the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion to end-user touchpoints. The candidate will be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. They will be well-versed in marketing concepts, principles, tactics, and execution.
 
The candidate will serve as the photographer/videographer who captures, edits, and produces content for both internal and external purposes. This will also encompass managing social media sites to grow followers, engage and retain them, and convert them into leads, customers, and active fans. Qualifying candidates will have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
  • Lead marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas, e.g. content development and optimization, advertising, etc.
  • Create marketing materials for new product launches and advertisement.
  • Work with external vendors to execute campaigns and promotional events.
  • Take lead on mobile app development, communicating with multiple departments.
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned, such as trade show materials, presentations
  • Collaborate with company leaders, field sales managers, and other stakeholders on key projects.
  • Shoot and edit content to build a library of product videos, training videos, and/or case study videos.
  • Manage all marketing communications (newsletters, webinars, product notifications, etc.).
  • Track and analyze the efficiency of all marketing projects and measure results with other stakeholders and field sales managers to shape future marketing strategies.
  • Build and manage the company’s social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and potentially additional channels (Google+, Pinterest, Snapchat, Instagram, etc.).
  • Explore new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our customers and end-users.
  • Support, mentor, and develop new and existing members of our marketing team. Oversee and ensure the marketing team’s continual growth and knowledge of the industry. 
  • Work with key customer’s marketing and advertising departments in developing creative for monthly
    and quarterly ads, as directed by the VP of Sales.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  Qualified candidates will have a BS/BA in marketing, communications, or equivalent from a credited university. Candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be detailed and task-oriented, and possess creative problem-solving skills. We are seeking a team player with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and marketing software.  They will have 1-3 years of experience in marketing and graphic design. Candidates should be skilled in Adobe Creative Suite & CRM, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Draw; web analytics and Google AdWords are also preferred.
 
REQUIREMENTS & ABILITIES:
  • Proven experience in marketing, specifically with a focus on resellers, with a thorough understanding of marketing elements and research methods.
  • Ability to think about process and scale above all else to work efficiently and effectively with multiple partners collectively and cohesively.
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web-development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) desired.
  • Experience in operating video and editing equipment.
  • Ability to empathize and deliver constructive feedback to employees.
  • Confident, outgoing, and a predisposition to teach others.
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS: Standard office hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.); however, overtime may be required.
