SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:    Develop a comprehensive and ongoing knowledge of Bungalow Flooring operations.  This will include the manufacturing of product, customer service functions, marketing, and sales. This role will report to the Division President.  In addition there will be a “dotted” line to the divisional Vice-President and the Western Regional Sales Manager.    The above team will direct the account executive in training, planning, follow up and implementation of customer programs.  Much of this process will be managed by the CRM salesforce.com.  The role will include significant interaction with the customer service team.  Direct account responsibility will be assigned initially on a limited basis and increased as the role develops. In addition, support will be required with key accounts currently managed by the sales team.  Personal growth opportunities will be available, including industry show visits, interaction with other Mountville divisions, and customer account relationships and development.     
 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: (detailed tasks, duties, and responsibilities)
  • Initial and ongoing training and development of manufacturing processes and product lines
  • Liaison between Bungalow customers and Customer Service
  • Completion of customer profile forms, distribution and development of literature, advertising
  • Management of the specialty gift and home trade channel including show preparation, promotions, lead follow up
  • Attendance of 4-6 trade shows annually
  • Direct customer assignments with standard sales and marketing management of these accounts
  • Participate in weekly design, product development and sales team conference calls
  • Management of customer profile forms, marketing (literature, sales sheets, advertising, etc.) website maintenance, custom samples for key accounts, show prep, and key account preparation.
  • Some projects will require self-teaching to determine a solution for business opportunities. 

QUALIFICATIONS: (specific requirements) 
Qualified candidates will possess a four-year college degree with 2-3 years of field experience.  Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of practices within a manufacturing environment (or similar environment).  We are seeking a team player with strong computer skills working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), who is highly motivated, and is a self-starter.

WORKING CONDITIONS: (hours, overtime, etc.)  Standard office hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm); however, travel required
