SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB: The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for overseeing all plant human resources departments while monitoring their alignment with company goals. Our target applicant will be able to execute hands-on activities while accomplishing business objectives. This applicant will act as a point of contact to the company's senior management team and human resources department. 
    
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
  • Oversee human resources strategy and KPI metrics amongst all plant locations.
  • Act as a contact between senior management and all human resources plant locations.
  • Work closely with senior management to align business policies and practices with the company’s strategic vision. 
  • Analyze human resources procedure and develop recommendations, policies, and solutions to company discrepancies.
  • Improve company-wide human resource services, policies, and programs by analyzing information.
  • Conduct weekly meetings between all human resources departments.
  • Coach and develop human resource staff members across multiple locations. 
  • Demonstrate leadership in supporting and executing corporate policies, while ensuring legal compliance with applicable federal and state requirements. 
  • Administer our Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) – including new hire information, benefits, compensation, time, etc. 
  • Evaluate employee benefit programs by assessing benefit needs and recommending changes to management. 
  • Manage worker’s compensation claims and help to maintain a safe work environment. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  This position requires a 4-year degree, preferably in Human Resources.  Ideally, candidates will possess a minimum of 5 years of direct Human Resource management experience and possess HR certifications. Candidates must have strong interpersonal communication skills, be detail and task oriented, possess problem solving skills, and be able to comprehend at a rapid pace.  We are seeking a team player with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). 
 

SALARY RANGE: $60,000 – $70,000 based on experience. 
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:   The Human Resources Business Partner will supervise all M+A Matting human resources department at Plant 1 & 2 (LaGrange, GA), Mountville Rubber Company, as well as Plant 5 (Dalton, GA).
 
WORKING CONDITIONS:  Standard office hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm); however, overtime and weekends may be required.  May be required to travel to various plants within LaGrange, GA and Dalton, GA.
